Robinah Nakanwagi Alambuya (Mrs) a Ugandan woman with a lived experience Psychosocial and Physical disability, raised in a rural African family, experienced mental and emotional distress at an early age but with her family support she has triumphed in Christ as she says. Married to a Church leader Pr . Billy Melchizedek Alambuya of the Apostolic Team- Deliverance Church Uganda.
Robinah is an a alumina a Co- facilitator and of Bridge CRPD-SDGs Training Initiative having an extensive hands-on working experience with in communities, advocates for the promotion and protection of rights for persons with disability as enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (UNCRPD). And the Agenda 2030 Living no one behind for the realization of the Global Sustainable Goals..
Robinah has a proven track record of leadership at different levels. Board member to the World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry (WNUSP) , Chairperson: Pan African Network of People with Psychosocial Disabilities (PANUSP). Advisory member of the global Mental Health Innovation Network (MHIN) ,Founding Chairperson in My Story Initiatives (MSI) . Pioneer Peer Support Work manager Butabika National Mental Health Referral Hospital.
